Ready To Lead?
Vince Young is a champion. The Tennessee Titans saw how Young outperformed Reggie Bush in the National Championship game and new that they had their man.

Fast Forward a couple of years and the Titans and Young appear ready to take that next step up into the elite class in the NFL. After making the playoffs last year, the Titans are looking for bigger and better things in 2008.

The Titans have welcomed back an old friend to their defense in the off season. Jevon Kearse, who had his most dominant seasons with the Titans is back, and he's ready
to make a defense that was ranked number five in the league last year a Super Bowl contender.

The offense did not do much to improve the weapons around Young, but they don't have to be great to make a serious playoff run. Alge Crumpler can handle the football at tight end and that should give Young a strong reliable receiver in tight situations.

The honeymoon period is over for Young. It is time for him to step up and show he can be an elite NFL quarterback. If he takes those steps, the Titans could be headed deeper into the playoffs than most people expect.
