Indianapolis Colts
The outlook for the 2009 Indianapolis Colts is cloudy. There are a lot of questions waiting to be answered by this years Colts team. Many experts think that the window is closing for this group. However, one thing we have seen over the years is that a team led by Peyton Manning can never be counted out.

The Colts maybe flying under the radar in 09'. Vegas odds makers are calling the Colts about a 15/1 shot to win the Super Bowl. It's been a long time since we have seen the Colts with those kind of odds. They are even sitting at even money to win the AFC South.

On offense the Colts are still going to be putting up some serious points. With Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne and Joseph Addai they will be, as always, scaring a lot of defensive coordinators around the league.

In the offseason the Colts looked within and concentrated on re-signing key free agents like center Jeff Saturday and cornerback Kelvin Hayden. The biggest
change remains to be seen. The loss of offensive coordinator Tom Moore will be a big one. In the draft, the Colts surprisingly drafted running back Donald Brown in the first round instead of addressing other areas. They did fill a huge void along their defensive line with USC tackle Fili Moala in the second round.

The bottom line, for the Colts in 2009 is that this team is still led by Manning, who won't allow his team to not be competitive. It'll be interesting to see how they fare against the likes of the Patriots, Steelers and Titans this season.

I like the Colts to win the AFC South in 2009. The Tennessee Titans will have trouble at the quarterback position in 09'. Kerry Collins over achieved last year and they don't have much better in Vince Young. The Texas are getting better but are not ready to contend and the Jaguars may be worse than they were last year.

As far as the Super Bowl odds, at 15/1 it may be worth it to put a few bucks down just for the possibility of the big payout.
