Terrell Owens

Terrell Owens' agent Drew Rosenhaus didn't waist any time getting his Pro Bowl wide receiver signed on with another NFL team. Just days after Owens was released from the Dallas Cowboys, the controversial wide-out has signed a one-year, $6.5 million deal with the Buffalo Bills.

Apparently the Bills are less concerned with any problems Owens might create in the locker room and banking on his dynamic play on the field. Owens had compiled over 3,500 yards receiving and has caught 235 passes during his three seasons in Dallas. He hauled in 38 touchdowns with the Cowboys, including 10 last season.

It's unclear whether Owens will be used to complement Bills no. 1 receiver Lee Evens or if Evens will become quarterback Trent Edwards' second option. In any case, Evens is looking forward to
having TO split out wide opposite him.

"'Wow!' was my first reaction," Evans said. "I know we were looking at some different receivers out there. When he was cut by the Cowboys, I didn't know if we were going to make the move for him or not. We did and it worked out. I'm very excited for everybody."

Owens is tied for sixth place among NFL receivers with 951 catches, and his total of 14,122 yards is fifth best all-time. His 139 touchdowns are second only to Jerry Rice.

If Terrell Owens can continue to perform at such a high level and he can peacfully co-exsist with his teammates, there is no telling what the Bills offense can accomplish.

Buffalo has a good young quarterback in Trent Edward, a strong running attack with Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson and with the addition of Owens, one of the finest receiveing corps in the NFL.
