Super Bowl XLIII
Super Bowl XLIII
Sunday evening in Tampa, history will be made when the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII. At the end of the day the Cardinals will have won their first championship or the Steelers will have taken home a record sixth title. Odds makers are calling the Steelers about a touchdown favorite against the Cardinals. NFL betting lines have Pittsburgh at -6.5 with the total in the game sitting at 46.5.

The Steelers opened at -7 but have dropped a half a point in many sportsbooks and may continue to drop has game time approaches. A little more early money is coming in for Arizona but that may level off if Pittsburgh's price continues to drop.

There has been a lot of talk about the Arizona Cardinals and their high flying offense. Too much hype may be surrounding Kurt Warner and what some so called experts think he will be able to do against the Pittsburgh defense. All year long the Cards
have been an up and down team. Coming into this one, Arizona is hot, but the quickest way to cool of a team that is on fire is with a good defense.

All year long the Pittsburgh Steelers defense has not just been good, they have played great. Throughout the regular season and the playoffs their may not have been a more consistent squad then Dick LeBeau's defense. LeBeau has continued to come up with schemes to combat any and all offenses.

Whatever team wins this game is going to have to stay balanced on offense. Let's face it, the Arizona Cardinals will not be able to run against the Steelers. Pittsburgh will move the ball on the ground with running back Willie Parker, who is healthy by the way, control the clock, take over the tempo and dominate between the tackles.

When the Cardinals completely abandon the run early on in this one, the game will be over. Take the Steelers, give the 6.5 points. Pittsburgh is going to take home a record breaking sixth Super Bowl Championship.
