Sunday evening the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship. Odds makers are calling the Steelers about a touchdown favorite at home against the AFC Central Division rival. NFL betting lines have Pittsburgh at -6 with the total in the game sitting at 34.5.

Sunday will showcase the top two defenses in the NFL when the Steelers and Ravens knock heads for the AFC Title. These teams met twice in the regular season, with Pittsburgh coming out on top in both games. Both were hard fought tough games that could not be much closer. The Steelers won both games by a total 7 points.

The Steelers defense gave up a league low 237 yards per game. That's the fewest yards any team has given up since the 1991 Philadelphia Eagles gave up just 221 yards
per game. Pittsburgh also gave up the fewest points per game this season, 13.9 points per contest.

If there was any team in the league that wouldn't be intimidated by those numbers it would be the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens defensive numbers are not too far behind the Steelers. Baltimore was the NFL's second ranked defense allowing just 267 yards per game and they let up just 15 points per game.

The Ravens are plus 13 in take-aways, but that has, at least in some part to the offense not turning the ball over. Rookie quarterback Joe Flacco has played more like a seasoned veteran and less like a first year starter.

This game is going to be a tough, hardnosed football game and 6 points is a lot to give with the Ravens defense on the field, no matter who they are playing.

Take the Ravens getting the 6 points.
