Locker room chemistry is at the top of the list when NFL teams feel changes need to be made within an organization. It will be no different for the Dallas Cowboys this off-season.

In fact the Cowboys already began to trim the fat so to speak when they cut troubled defensive back Adam Jones last week, also Tank Johnson is expected to depart through free agency. Both moves are clearly the first step in creating a different atmosphere in the Cowboys locker room.

"I think we all know that chemistry is the problem with this team more than the schemes or anything else," a Cowboys source told ESPN's Ed Werder. "Are we going to continue to allow talent to outweigh everything else in the decisions we make with players and putting the roster together? There's more to it than talent. It has to be more about
the team."

Two more NFL sources believe that Steven Jones, Cowboys vice president, will try to convince his father, Jerry Jones, that Terrell Owens should be the next to go.

"I think some of people want to just cut our losses and get rid of all those guys; T.O., Tank, Pacman," another Cowboys source said. "But I really think Jerry likes the thrill of trying to make it all work."

There have been no formal discussions in Dallas about Owens yet, but surely the subject would have to be addressed at some point.

Dallas will likely wait to see if there any changes to their coaching staff first. Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, the apparent "head coach in waiting" has interviewed with at least two NFL teams for their vacant coaching positions. Garrett met with the St. Louis Rams on Wednesday after interviewing with the Detroit Lions last week.
