Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh, the San Diego Chargers will be looking to continue their improbable run. But, this week against the Steelers it won't be easy. Odds makers are calling Pittsburgh a touchdown favorite against a San Diego team that has won five straight. NFL betting lines have the Steelers at -7 with the total in the game sitting at 37.5.

For the San Diego Chargers, the playoffs started on December 4th with their victory over the Oakland Raiders. After that win, the Chargers stood at 5-8, three games back of the Denver Broncos with three to play. Since the beginning of December, the Chargers have been playing outstanding football. They are playing like the team that most experts thought they would be when the season began.

Last week against Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts, running back Darren Sproles stole the show in San Diego subbing for the injured LaDainian Tomlinson. Sproles rushed for 105 yards on 22 carries including a 22 yard scamper in overtime to beat the Colts 23-17. Tomlinson is not
expected to be able to go this week against the Steelers. If he is inactive, Sproles will get the start.

The Pittsburgh Steelers used their bye week to get healthy. This is as good as the Steelers injury report has looked all year. Only quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is listed as 'probable' and he will definitely play after suffering a concussion in Week 17.

The last time these two met back in November, the Steelers pulled out an 11-10 victory despite not scoring a touchdown.

"We moved the ball, but we sputtered in the red zone," said Roethlisberger. "We can't afford to do that. We can't turn the ball over. The big thing is we can drive up and down the field, but we have to be able to put the ball in when we get down there."

The Chargers are hot and their offense has been playing extremely well, but they have not run into a defense like Pittsburgh's. The Steelers rank no. 1 overall letting up just 237.2 yards per game, no. 2 against the run and no. 1 against the pass.

This is going to be another close one. Steelers should win, but take the Chargers getting the 7 points.
