Panthers vs Cardinals
When the Panthers and the Cardinals take the field in Charlotte on Saturday night, Carolina will be hosting an Arizona team that has not had a lot of success heading east this season. Odds makers are calling the Panthers heavy favorites against Kurt Warner and the visiting Cardinals. NFL betting lines have Carolina at -10 with the total in the game sitting at 50.

The Panthers will be looking to improve to 9-0 at Bank of America Stadium and complete a two game season sweep against Arizona. Carolina has dominated at home. The Panthers have won their eight home games by an average of over 15 points while the Cardinals have gone 0-5 on east coast road trips this season. They lost to Washington, the New York Jets, Carolina, Philadelphia and New England by an average of 20.0 points.

The Cardinals are 2-20 in their last 22 games in the Eastern Time zone.

The
last time these two met Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner threw for 381 yards and two touchdowns. That was the most allowed by the Panthers until they gave up 386 to New Orleans' Drew Brees in their regular-season finale.

Arizona was the first to clinch their division and secure a playoff spot, however they struggled down the stretch losing four of six. After their lack-luster finish, the Cardinals surprised a lot of the experts last week in the Wild-Card round by beating-up on a very good Atlanta team that was expected to run all over the Cardinals defense.

Arizona was able to contain Falcons running back Michael Turner to just 42 yards on 18 carries. Warner was had a good day throwing for 271 yards and two touchdowns in the Cardinals 30-24 win.

This is a divisional-round playoff game that is going to be a lot closer than most people think. Take the Cardinals getting the 10 points. Arizona will keep this one close.
