Sam Bradford & Tim Tebow
Sam Bradford & Tim Tebow
Tonight's BCS National Championship game in Miami between the Florida Gators and the Oklahoma Sooners will be making history. The fact is that the Sooners and the Gators have none, history that is. Florida and Oklahoma have both been playing football for over a century. However, in all that time these two storied institutions have never met.

All that changes tonight. It is only fitting that they finally face-off with college football's biggest prize on the line.

This is a dream match-up between two of college football's best young coaches. The kind of match-up that could compared to Paterno vs Bowden, in about 25 years. Expect these two guys to hang around for a long time.

These two are the elite of the best two conferences, without a doubt. There respected, fan bases rank at the top of the list of all schools. This year they are among the finest offenses to step onto the field.

That
brings us to the most intriguing match-up, the quarterbacks. We do not often get one like this. The Heisman vs. Heisman match-up between Tim Tebow, the 2007 winner of Florida, and Sam Bradford, the 2008 winner of Oklahoma, will be a treat for all.

Bradford is the pocket passer, cut from the NFL mold. His poise and precision make him a coach's dream come true. Bradford's 4,464 yards and 48 touchdowns made him college football's no. 1 rated passer this year. His polished play and leadership has the Sooners set to make a run at their second National Title of the decade.

Tebow is the polar opposite. He is touch and gritty. His ability to make plays all by himself with his legs as well as ability to find his playmakers make him a dual threat. He can be a good defense's worst nightmare.

The big question is who will have the better game in tonight's championship. Bradford should have the better game statistically, but Tebow will lead his team to victory.
