Texas Longhorns Monday night in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl the Texas Longhorns and the Ohio State Buckeyes face-off what should be a very nice Big Ten vs Big 12 match-up. Odds makers are calling the Longhorns more than a touchdown favorite against the Buckeyes. NCAA betting lines have Texas at -8.5 with the total sitting at 52.
After finishing the season 11-1 and being snubbed from a chance to play in Miami for the National Championship, the Longhorns will really trying to put on a show against 10th ranked Ohio State. Texas finished in a three-way tie atop the Big 12 South. They thought that their 10-point win over the Oklahoma Sooners would have them in the Big 12 title game. It was not to be.

The Longhorns still feel they have a shot to win the title, a very slim shot. Leaving them still extremely determined to achieve the ultimate goal.
"I don't know what needs to happen," said Texas tailback Chris Ogbonnaya. "Right now, our focus is Ohio State and really that is all that matters. We can't talk about being in the national championship picture without having a victory against them."
The Buckeyes have not been in the National Title picture since they were crushed by USC back in September, but they still are motivated.
"It would be nice to win that big game," linebacker James Laurinaitis said. "We will be remembered about how this game comes out. It is just a real fact."
Texas should be able to take care of the Buckeyes. Take the Longhorns and give the 8.5 points.
