Sunday afternoon the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Oakland Raiders, in Raymond James Stadium, with their playoff lives on the line. Odds makers are calling the Buccaneers home favorites as they enter week 17 needing a win to make the post Tampa Bay at -13 with the total in the game sitting at 39.5.
At 9-6, the Bucs have lost three straight and now need a win and help to get into the post-season. Tampa Bay can clinch a wild card with a win against Oakland and a Dallas lost to Philadelphia.
Tampa lost a couple of tough division games on the road to start the stretch but last week's home loss to San Diego has really left a bad taste in their mouth.
"When you're 9-3 at one point and you're a couple of wins away from the playoffs," said Buccaneers running back Warrick Dunn. "Now we're fighting just to get in, it's tough looking at it."
Tampa Bay Bucs has led or been tied in the fourth quarter in each of the last three games, but each time they've let the games get away from them. Last week against the Chargers, Bucs quarterback Jeff Garcia threw a pair of fourth quarter interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown.
"It's been very disappointing," said Garcia. "Over the past three weeks - to play the way we have and not finish games."
The Raiders are coming off a 27-16 win over Houston. Oakland quarterback JaMarcus Russell went 18-of-25 for 236 yards and two touchdowns.
Even though the Raiders have not won back to back games all year, take Oakland getting the 13 points. Bucs win but do not cover.
