New England Patriots Sunday afternoon in Buffalo the New England Patriots look to keep their playoff hopes alive against the Bills. Odds makers are calling New England a road favorite in this must-win for the Pats. NFL betting lines have New England at -6 with the total in the game sitting at 40.
For the Patriots they can clinch the AFC East title with a win or tie against the Bills and Miami Dolphins loss or tie to the New York Jets. Also, New England will clinch a wild-card spot with a win or tie and Baltimore loss. A loss will eliminate the Patriots from any play-off contention.
If the Patriots win and neither scenario plays out, they will join the 1985 Denver Broncos as the only 11-5 teams to miss the playoffs in NFL history.

Last week against the Broncos, the Bills got a solid performance from their quarterback as well. Trent Edwards returned to the line-up after missing two games with a groin problem. Edwards threw for 193 yards and one touchdown in the Bills 30-23 victory over Denver.
The Bills may have played spoiler a week ago against the Broncos, but they might not be able to do the same this week. However, with Edwards back under center and playing with some confidence, they will keep it close.

We need more cheerleader pictures. My husband says you spend too much time on players, and too little on cheerleaders, who have been long a great part of the football game day.
