Sunday afternoon home field advantage in the AFC is up for grabs in Nashville when the Tennessee Titans host the Pittsburgh Steelers in a battle of conference powerhouses. Odds makers are calling the Steelers slight favorites on the road. NFL betting lines have Pittsburgh at -2 with the total in the game sitting at 34.

Last week against the Ravens, Pittsburgh locked up a first-round bye and home playoff game with a division-clinching road win in Baltimore. The Steelers have won five in a row and are one of the hottest teams in the league. This is no doubt due to the play of their defense.

Last week against the Ravens, Pittsburgh locked up a first-round bye and home playoff game with a division-clinching road win in Baltimore. The Steelers have won five in a row and are one of the hottest teams in the league. This is no doubt due to the play of their defense.

The Steelers lead the league in rush defense, pass defense and total defense, and could become the first team to finish no. 1 in all three categories since the 1991 when the Eagles did it. The Steelers haven't allowed 300 yards all season, and are also no. 1 in scoring defense, yielding just 13.7 points per game.

As for Tennessee, since starting 10-0 the Titans have gone 2-2 and have only beaten the hapless Lions and the Cleveland Browns. Tennessee's success has come in no small part to their defense as well. The Titans are right behind Pittsburgh allowing just 14.1 point per game.

This week however, they will be with the services of Pro Bowl defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth and star defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch, both will be sidelined with injuries until the playoffs.

This week will pit power against power. Tennessee has the AFC's top rushing attack with the one-two punch of the conference's second-leading rusher Chris Johnson and LenDale White, while Pittsburgh is allowing just 3.2 yards per carry.

This one might fall in the hands of the play of the quarterbacks. Ben Roethlisberger and Kerry Collins may be the difference makers.

Go with the Big Ben and the Steelers. Take Pittsburgh and give the 2 points.
