The NFL wanted something done by Tuesday and they got what they were looking for. Brett Favre reported to camp. But then they got what they didn't want. Brett Favre left camp again.

The circus that is the Green Bay Packers training camp took a couple of more twists on Tuesday. Favre first said that he would have no problem competing for his old job. Then, before it was time for him to go out and begin competing, he left camp again.

There does not seem to be an end in sight to this horrible soap opera. At first, it was hard to decipher who was the bad guy, Favre or the team. Now it appears painfully obvious that both have had enough of each other.

Favre

is a competitor, so when he was told that Aaron Rodgers was handed his staring spot, he naturally played the, "Green bay doesn't respect me" card.

At first this was a good choice and the fans supported him, but now he has brought it so far that he has impeded on the one thing that Packer fans love more than Favre. Green Bay football.

So another day has come and gone, and there is still no word on whether Favre will be playing this upcoming season. The Buccaneers renewed their interest in Favre late Tuesday, raising speculation that a deal could get done.

Most likely, that will not happen and tomorrow will be another in the soap opera that is 'Days of Brett Favre's Life'.
