Sunday in St Louis, both at 2-11, the Rams and the Seahawks will be playing for nothing but pride as both teams are well out of any playoff consideration. Odds makers are calling the Seahawks road favorites in the Edward Jones Dome. NFL betting lines have Seattle at -2.5 with the total sitting at 42.

Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck has missed much of the season with a bulging disk in his back, but he remains optimistic that he will play again in 2008. According to team doctors, the veteran quarterback could stay out the rest of the way and get healthy for 2009, but Hasselbeck wants to do everything he can to help his teammates down the stretch of what has been a tough season.

"It has been brought up that as of right now I don't need surgery, and so I'll be 100 percent by Valentine's
Day if nothing changes," said Hasselbeck. "That has been discussed. But that's not my job. My job is to just get better for this week, and that is what I am trying to do."

With or without Hasselbeck, the Seahawks offense has not had much success this season.

St. Louis has been even worse. The Rams rank 31st in scoring on both and defense.

"If the defense puts us in a bad spot, we have got to cover them. If we put them in a bad spot, they've got to cover us," said quarterback Marc Bulger. "Right now we are not doing that for each other and that's why we have two wins."

Since winning their only two back in October, the Rams have been bad, very bad. Last week against the Patriots the Seahawks played well even in the 24-21 loss. If there is a hot team in this one it is Seattle. Take the Seahawks and give the 2.5 points on the road.
