Fantasy Beasts Again? There are a few things that are supposed to be guaranteed in fantasy football over the past several seasons. Ladainian Tomlinson will be the best scoring back in fantasy, and the Baltimore Ravens defense will be among the leagues best.
The first held true to form for fantasy owners last year. For those who drafted the Ravens, however, there was major disappointment. The Ravens fell flat on their faces and it was not only the offenses fault.
The defense looked to be ready to once again be among the fantasy leaders at season's start, but injuries severely depleted the team.
This year, fantasy owners will be a bit more sceptical about drafting the Ravens. Their driving force for their dominant run has been ray Lewis. He is back, but is coming off an injury filled season and is getting up there in age.
Several other key members are also turning towards the twilight of their career. Baltimore's defense does still have play makers, and they still will be able to get after opposing quarterbacks. For owners who do take the chance on a resurgence, the upside could be enormous.
