Tennessee Titan?
Tennessee Titan?
Byron Leftwich is an NFL quarterback who has had some success in the past. He knows how to read defenses and he has started in the league, both qualities that are appealing for an NFL team.

One team in particular could be making Leftwich a part of their future plans. The Tennessee Titans have brought in Leftwich to work out throwing passes to some of their receivers and to take a physical.

"He's played in the league. He's been a starter in the league. He's won a lot of games. We're bringing him in just to work him out and see where he's at and even give him a physical and have him
throw to some receivers that we're also trying to determine whether we put on our ready list or not," said head coach, Jeff Fisher.

The Titans are coming off a season in which they surprised many by making it to the playoffs. They are led by quarterback Vince Young. The move to bring in Leftwich would be a peculiar one since Kerry Collins is entrenched as the teams backup.

With the Colts always a factor and the Jaguars almost reaching that elite level of play, the Titans will have to continue to get better if they are going to compete in the division. Even the Houston Texans are expected to be much improved this upcoming season.
