Eagles vs Ravens
Philadelphia is coming off the league's first tie in six years, the Eagles will look to begin climbing out of the NFC East cellar on Sunday at Baltimore. Odds makers are calling the Ravens slight home favorites against the struggling Eagles. NFL betting lines have Baltimore at -1.5 with the total sitting at 40.

A week ago against the Bengals, Donovan McNabb and the Philadelphia offense could only manage 13 points in five full quarters, playing to a 13-all draw. The 10-year veteran quarterback admitted he was unaware that ties were possible after he lost a fumble and threw three interceptions.

"I guess we're aware of it now," said McNabb. "In college, there are multiple overtimes, and in high school and Pop
Warner. I never knew in the professional ranks it would end that way."

At 5-4-1, the Eagles are now in sole possession of last place in the NFC East and figure to have to win five out of their last six games to have a chance at the post-season.

This week when the Eagle face-off against the Ravens they will need to establish the running game early. Against the Bengals Andy Reid's offense only ran the ball 18 times, forcing McNabb to attempt 58 passes.

"Could we have dialed up more runs? Absolutely," Reid said. "We have to start off faster both in the pass and the run game. No matter what phase of the ball you are picking there, you can criticize."

Look for Philadelphia to play with a sense of desperation. Take the Eagles getting 1.5 points.
