Brett Favre Finally Applies For Reinstatement From NFL

Coming Back Soon The Brett Favre saga will have to be rectified quickly if the Green Bay Packers want to keep the distraction from getting much worse. That could happen as early as Wednesday after Favre applied to the NFL for reinstatement today.
Favre was asked by the Packers general manager to hold off a few days before applying to the league. Favre honored that request through Monday, but with nothing done about the situation, he has now sent the reinstatement letter to the NFL.

Now, if reinstated, Favre will head to Packers camp where there will most certainly be a circus atmosphere awaiting him. The Packers must now move quickly if they wish to avoid the distraction of Favre showing up.
Green Bay's head coach has already said that Aaron Rodgers will be the starting quarterback heading into camp. The Pack, however, do not want to see Favre even show up to compete for the job. If Rodgers should struggle at all, the fans will quickly turn on their incumbent quarterback.
