Tennessee Titans The Titans had a rough go of it last week in Chicago, but still got the tough win on the road to remain the lone undefeated team in the NFL. After going 1-1 against the win-less Bengals and then Detroit Lions, the Jags are five games in back of the Titans in the AFC South and are a long shot for a wild-card spot in the postseason at 4-5.

This week the Titans and the Jags will face-off in Jacksonville, Tennessee looking to remain unbeaten and the Jaguars fighting for their play-off lives. Odds makers are calling the Titans slight favorites on the road in Jacksonville Stadium. NFL betting lines have Tennessee at -3 with the total sitting at 39 1/2.

Last week the Titans got out of Solder Field with a 21-14 win against the Bears even with Chicago stuffing the run.

"It's nice to win a ballgame and not play well," coach Jeff Fisher said.

Quarterback Kerry Collins
was forced to throw for a season-high 289 yards and 2 touchdowns as running backs LenDale White and Chris Johnson were held to just 20 yards. The Titans still found a way to win.

"Everybody right now is filling their role," said Collins. "For me, you play long enough you're going to be on good teams. You're going to be on bad teams. At this point in my career to be playing on a good football team that has a chance to go out and win every Sunday is exciting for me."

Week to week Collins is proving to be more than just a game manager. Along with Collins' stellar effort, Tennessee's dominant defense helped pick up the slack for the run game. Tennessee has been limiting opponents to an NFL-low 13.0 points per game.

When you have a team that plays great defense, usually runs the ball all over opposing defenses and can throw to win when they need to, that usually spells championships. Who knows? This week take the Titans and give the 3 points.
