Sunday afternoon the Houston Texans head to Indianapolis to take on the Colts in an AFC South match-up. Odds makers are calling the Colts a home favorite in this one. NFL Football betting lines have Indianapolis at -8 with the total sitting at 50.5.

With the Titans having a firm grip on the division lead at 9-0 both Indy and Houston have to cling to wild-card hopes of making the playoffs.

The Colts come in at 5-4 and have won two in a row including an impressive come from behind victory over the Steelers a week ago. Quarterback Peyton Manning seems to be adjusting to the new look Colts offense. Indianapolis' offense is evolving into more on a game management type offense rather than the high-power, quick-strike bunch fans have been accustom.

With the 3-6 Texans coming to town the Colts know they cannot afford any
let down this week.

"We know we can't have a lapse," said Colts coach Tony Dungy. "Houston has not won a game up here, but if they beat us it will be a big setback, so I know we'll come out and prepare because it's not like we have a two-or-three game lead. I think we'll have the attention of the players and they'll continue to work."

The Texans are coming off a tough 41-13 loss to Baltimore a week ago. Houston was able to hand with a very good Ravens team for three quarters. When quarterback Sage Rosenfels connected with Kevin Walter for a 60-yard touchdown pass late in the 3rd quarter to pull the Texans within 6 points, thing were looking good.

That's when the bottom fell out on Houston. Baltimore scored 22 unanswered points to hand the Texans their sixth loss of the year.

The Colts should be able to handle the Texans at home. Take Indianapolis and give the 8 points.
