Miami Hurricanes Thursday night the Miami Hurricanes host their ACC rival the Virginia Tech Hokies in primetime. Odds makers are call the Canes a favorite at home against the Hokies. College football betting lines have Miami at -5 with the total sitting at 43.5.
This ACC match-up is another big game on Thursday night. The Hokies travel down south to take on the Hurricanes in a game that puts one of these teams in the lead in the Coastal division, as Virginia Tech, Miami and North Carolina are locked up for first.
The Hokies come in at 3-2 in the conference and 6-3 overall. Virginia Tech pulled off the minor upset when they beat No. 23 Maryland 23-13 last week.
Running back Darren Evans ran for a school-record
"We're tired of hearing about our offense not being good," Evans said after his 32-carry, breakout performance. "We just had to show up tonight and that's what we did."
Miami is also at 3-2 in the conference and 6-3 overall. The Hurricanes got their third conference win on November 1st as they snuck past Virginia 27-17 in overtime.
"Unbelievable," Miami coach Randy Shannon said. "These guys came out and they never quit. They kept fighting, they kept trying to press on and every time we put ourselves in a bad situation with penalties, they found a way to get it done."
This should be a good game. Take the Hurricanes at home and give the 5 points.
