Tonight in primetime on ESPN's Monday Night Football the Arizona Cardinals host the San Francisco 49ers. Odds maker are calling the NFC West leading Cardinals a double digit favorite at home as week 10 comes to a close. NFL betting lines have Arizona at -10 with the total sitting at 47 1/2.

At 5-3, the Arizona Cardinals and their high-powered offense are leading the NFL with a 29.3 points per game average. They have are scoring even more at home, 34 point per game. Arizona has defended its home turf well, winning five straight at home and 9 of 11 at University of Phoenix Stadium under Whisenhunt.

"We're excited about where we are as a team," Whisenhunt said. "We realize that we have a chance. But we also understand that last year at this time there were teams that were 6-2 that didn't even sniff
the playoffs. I think taking that approach is going to keep us grounded. We've got only half the season behind us."

The 49ers meanwhile, are struggling again, Mike Nolan is out after seven games into his fourth season. He's been replaced by Mike Singletary on an interim basis.

Singeltary made waves early, he immediately bench quarterback JT O'Sullivan in the second quarter against Seattle on October 26 and sent Vernon Davis to the locker room with more than 10 minutes remaining.

"I'd rather play with 10 people and just get penalized all the way until we have to do something else rather than play with 11 when I know that right now that person is not sold out to be a part of this team," Singletary said. "It is more about them than it is about the team."

The 49ers can play with 12, they won't beat the Cardinals. Take Arizona and give the 10 points.
