Sunday afternoon the Buffalo Bills head to Foxboro the take on the New England Patriots in the huge AFC East battle. Odds makers are calling the Patriots home favorites as they face-off with the division rival Bills. NFL betting lines have New England at -3.5 with the total sitting at 41.5 points.

Since opening the season with their best start in 13 years, the Buffalo Bills have run into some problems against AFC East opponents.

The Bills jumped out to an early lead against Miami on October 26th before giving up 18 unanswered points in a 25-16 road loss. Buffalo then lost 26-17 at home last Sunday to the Brett Favre and the New York Jets.

"Losing the last two games is hard. There's nowhere to hide," said cornerback Jabari Greer. "No matter what we've done before, having that two-game losing streak, the taste in your mouth can easily become something if that's not corrected. It can change the whole mind-set of the season."

Now, Greer and the Bills will try to put an end to their problems this week against the five-time defending AFC East champion New England Patriots. However, the Bills haven't won against the Patriots in Foxboro since 2000.

Much of New England's success against the Bills can be attributed to Tom Brady and the Bills will not have to contend with him this season.

Quarterback Matt Cassel has been consistently getting better each week, while filling in for Brady. He is eighth in the league with a 67 percent completion rate and has four 200-yard performances in the Patriot's last five games.

As Cassel's confidence grows, only look for New England to get better. Take the Patriots at home and give the 3.5 points.
