Chicago Bears The Tennessee Titans will be looking to remain unbeaten on Sunday against the Bears as they head to Soldier Field in Chicago. Odds makers call the Bears a home underdog as they host the Titans. NFL betting lines have Tennessee at -3 with the total sitting at 37 1/2.
Even with Tennessee off to an 8-0 start, the best start in franchise history, they recognize that the second half of the season will not be easy.
"We realize each and every week from here on out, we're going to get each team's best shot," linebacker David Thornton said. "Clearly, the Packers gave us a big punch. We felt it, but we survived it and we realize the Bears are going to do the same thing."
A week ago the Titans escaped their game with Green Bay with a 19-16 overtime win and expect the same kind of fight against the 5-3 Bears.
The big question mark coming out of Chicago is the status of their quarterback Kyle Orton. The Bears signal caller went down
Orton was able to participate in the Bears walk-through on Friday but was limited in what he could do.
"Kyle was able to do a few things, so he's making progress," said Bears coach Lovie Smith. "Beyond that, don't know."
Grossman is confident about his status.
"They didn't tell me anything, but in my mind, I'm playing," he said. "I would be shocked not to."
The Titans have been playing good defense, running the ball exceptionally and quarterback Kerri Collins have been effective in the passing game. They are doing everything you would expect from an un-defeated team to be doing. They have not shown the league many flaws. Take Tennessee and give the 3 points.
