Saturday afternoon the Florida State Seminoles host the Clemson Tigers at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee. With his son Tommy gone, Florida State coach Bobby Bowden doesn't have to worry about losing to him anymore but, he has bigger concerns, like losing a chance to win the ACC's Atlantic Division.

Odds makers are calling the Seminoles a home favorite as they try to keep pace in the conference division race. College football betting lines have the Noles at -4 with the total sitting at 44.

Bowden has lost three straight and four of the last five to his son, but won five of their nine overall meetings.

"This is the first time I don't have to worry about Tommy whipping me, or me
beating him," said Bowden. "We've got to improve on a 7-6. Right now we've got six. We still have a chance to have a very good year, but we've got to win the next game."

Clemson's coaching change has left the Tigers scrambling, which is good news for a Florida State team that can't afford a fourth straight loss in the series.

A week ago, Florida State nearly came back from 14 down against Georgia Tech, but running back Marcus Sims fumbled into the Yellow Jackets end zone on a run from the 3-yard line with 45 seconds left.

"You've got to get it out of your mind," Bowden said. "Put everything on Clemson."

The Noles should be able to put their heartbreaking loss behind them and play well. Take Florida State and give the 4 points.
