Washington Redskins Monday night in prime time football, the 5-2 Pittsburgh Steelers head to Washington to take on the 6-2 Redskins in the national spot-light. Odds makers call Washington a 2 1/2 point favorite at home with the total sitting at 37.
Pittsburgh is a perfect 5-0 against everyone they seen except the NFC East. The Steelers two losses to the Eagles and the Giants still leave them with the second best record in the AFC but they are still trying to figure out the NFC's toughest division.
Pittsburgh will hope for a better result in its third showdown with a member of the NFL's best division as they travel to the nation's capital for the first time in 20 years.
The difference has been protection. Steelers' quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was dropped eight times in a 15-6 loss
"The whole NFC East is similar to the Eagles and Giants," Roethlisberger said. "They're throwing a lot of blitzes at you. They're all big guys who can move around and throw different looks at you and try to confuse you. We've seen it twice so far and we'll see it again this week."
Things won't get any easier against the Redskins; Washington has the NFL's sixth-ranked defense, allowing 278.1 yards per game.
The Redskins success on defense is in direct response to the success they are having on offense. Washington is fourth in the league in time of possession (32:31) thanks to efficient quarterback Jason Campbell and Clinton Portis, the NFL rushing leader.
Take the Redskins and give the 2 1/2.

This is going to be a good game. I hope the redskins drop the ball on this one. Big Ben should have a outstanding game. The final outcome will be Pitt 34 and the Skins 17
