The Alabama Crimson Tide has moved into the no. 1 spot in the BCS standings, moving up a spot Sunday after beating Arkansas State 35-0 on Saturday. Along with the help they received when previously top-ranked Texas was beaten by the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

The Red Raiders scored a touchdown with a second left at home to win against the Longhorns 39-33 Saturday night, jumped four spots to move into the no. 2.

The Penn State stayed in the no. 3 without playing. The Nittany Lions beat no. 11 Ohio State in Columbus two weeks ago 13-6.

The Florida Gators moved up one place to the no. 4 spot after its 49-10 rout of the Georgia Bulldogs. After the loss, Georgia drops to no. 13.

The Texas
Longhorns dropped four spots to no. 5 after their loss to Texas Tech.

Rounding out the Top 10, the Oklahoma Sooners moved up to no. 6 after routing Nebraska 62-28. In the 7 spot the USC Trojans destroyed Washington 56-0. Securing the 8th spot Utah Utes remained unbeaten with a 13-10 victory over New Mexico. Oklahoma State at 8-1 and Boise State at 8-0 are 9 and 10.

TCU is no. 12, Missouri, BYU and LSU are 14, 15 and 16.

No. 17 Ball State is the lowest ranked of the six remaining unbeaten major college teams in the country. The Cardinals of the Mid-American Conference play Wednesday night against Northern Illinois.
