This year's meeting between the Florida Gators and the Georgia Bulldogs will not be short of intensity or significance, with the loser almost certainly being knocked out of the National Championship race as well as the SEC East Division lead. Odds makers say the Gators are 6 1/2 point favorites at "The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party" in Jacksonville, Fla.

Florida, however, appears to have some extra behind them going into Saturday. The Gators felt disrespected by no. 6 Georgia in last season's matchup, and no. 8 Florida will be looking to avenge that bitter loss.

In last season's 42-30 Bulldogs victory, after Georgia's Knowshon Moreno scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter, the entire Bulldogs team ran onto the field and jumped
up and down in unison while celebrating wildly.

"I told them if they didn't get a celebration penalty after our first score, all of them would be doing early morning runs," Richt said after that victory. "I wanted to make sure we left this game with our hearts on the field."

With both of these teams coming off impressive victories they appear to be running on all cylinders. Florida beat Kentucky 63-5 last Saturday and LSU 51-21 before that. Georgia played also played LSU and won going away, 52-38.

This one has the makings of being a fabulous football game.

Florida's offense has really matured since their early season loss to Mississippi. This should be a close one almost all the way through. Look for the Gators to pull away at the end. Take the Gators and give the 6 1/2 points.
