Texas Longhorns
The steady diet unbeatens opponents continues for the no. 1 ranked Texas Longhorns as they face-off with the third such team in four games. The 8-0 Texas Tech Red Raiders host the Longhorns at Jones SBC Stadium in Lubbock on Saturday. Odds makers have Texas 4 point favorites on the road against the no. 6 ranked Red Raiders.

Texas at 8-0, has remained undefeated and answered each challenge they have faced in this grueling the series of games. The top-ranked Longhorns look for their fourth straight win over a team ranked 11th or better as they visit Texas Tech.

Texas coach Mack Brown admits that his team is feeling the effects of facing elite competition over its last several games.

"We're telling our guys to get in bed, get off your
feet ... we're trying our best to make sure they can handle this stretch physically and emotionally," he said. "These kids are enjoying playing and what they've accomplished and they're having fun. That really helps."

The Longhorns' tough stretch of tough teams ends with Texas Tech, as none of Texas' final three opponents are currently in the Top 25.

The Red Raiders, on the other hand, have plenty of challenges ahead of them. They hadn't faced a Top 25 team until last week, but meet Texas, No. 9 Oklahoma State and No. 4 Oklahoma over their next three games.

Texas Tech looked very good a week ago against the then-ranked no. 19 Kansas Jayhawks in a 63-21 victory and they are undefeated. However, lets see where they are after this three game stretch. Take the Longhorns and give 4 points.
