NCAA Top 25 Polls: Week Nine College Football Rankings

NCAA Top 25 For a second consecutive the Texas Longhorns remain a unanimous no. 1, receiving all 65 first-place votes. The rest of the top five remained unchanged no. 2 Alabama, followed by Penn State, Oklahoma and the Florida Gators.
The Texas Tech Red Raiders moved up to their highest ranking in the Top 25 in 32 years to the no. 6 spot as they get ready to host No. 1 Texas.
The Texas Tech-Texas game this Saturday in Lubbock will be this weekend's marquee game. It will mark the end of a grueling stretch for the Longhorns. So far, Texas has navigated safely through Oklahoma, Missouri and Oklahoma State.
In the no. 7 spot, the USC Trojans slipped a spot after narrowly escaping Arizona with a 17-10 on Saturday night. Georgia moved up a spot to 8th
Rounding out the Top 10, Utah is 8-0 and was idle this weekend. They are at New Mexico this coming weekend and still have TCU and BYU on their schedule. The Utes remain the top BCS buster and if they can stay unbeaten could surely get a BCS Bowl bid.
Ohio State dropped three spots to no. 13 after losing 13-6 to Penn State and losing the Big Ten lead.
Also, Florida State comes in with their highest ranking of the season 2008 at no. 16.
Falling out of the Top 25 was Kansas, Pitt, Georgia Tech and Boston College.
