New York Giants
Sunday afternoon at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, the Steelers host the New York Giants. Odds makers are calling the Steelers a 3 point favorite at home with the total sitting at 42.

The 5-1 Steelers are first in the league in total defense, surrendering a mere 228.3 yards per game. They are also tops in pass defense, letting up just 158.7 yards per game. The Steelers are coming off a 38-10 rout of the Cincinnati Bengals last week. Pittsburgh held their opponent to less than 100 yards rushing for the fifth time this season and surrendered a season-low 128 passing yards and forced a turnover for the fifth time in six games.

The offense also appears to be running on all cylinders, after gaining over 375 yards for the second consecutive game. Mewelde Moore, the third-string running back coming into the season, made his second start of the year in place of an injured Willie Parker and rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Moore also caught
a pass from Roethlisberger for a score in the first quarter.

The Giants 5-1 have been playing well offensively as well, but their defense stepped up in a 29-17 home victory over San Francisco a week ago. New York had their third six sack game of the season and forced three turnovers holding the Frank Gore and the 49ers to only 35 yards rushing.

New York was able to control San Francisco with defense and the ground game as quarterback Eli Manning has not played particularly well as of late. After tossing three interceptions in a loss to Cleveland, Manning was just 16-of-31 for 161 yards against the 49ers.

"We've played some outstanding games, offensively and defensively. Today our defense played well," said Manning, "That's football and you're going to go through all sorts of situations. It's all about finding ways to win, to gut it out. That's what we did."

Look for Manning to continue to struggle against the tough Steelers defense. Take Pittsburgh and give the 3 points at home.
