Alabama Crimson Tide Saturday Night in Knoxville, the 2nd ranked Alabama Crimson Tide will be looking to remain perfect while trying to avoid a third straight road loss to the Tennessee Volunteers. Odds makers call the Tide a 5 point favorite on the road.
The SEC's lone undefeated team is 7-0 Alabama and as long as they stay unbeaten, the Crimson Tide should be playing in Miami on Jan. 8 for the BCS Championship.
A week ago the Crimson Tide survived a second-half rally from Ole' Miss before holding on for a 24-20 victory. Their halftime lead was 24-3.
"We have to find a way to strike more consistency for 60 minutes in the game," said Alabama coach Nick Saban said. "That's going to be critical to us in the future."
Against Georgia on Sept. 27, Alabama
"We're not just focused on winning, we're focused a lot on how we're winning," Saban said. "A big goal for us, and I talked about it at halftime, was to go out and play and do a better job in the second half."
The Tide will have a few weeks to figure out what they need to do to stay focused for the entire game as they look ahead to their trip to Baton Rouge on November 8.
This week against Tennessee they should have some margin for error. The 3-4 Vols have struggled to put points on the board in 2008. Take Alabama and give the 5 points. This one should be a laugher.
