The 7th ranked Georgia Bulldogs head to Baton Rouge to take on the 13th ranked LSU Tigers on Saturday. Odds maker are calling the Tigers a 1 point favorite at home with the total sitting at 50.

Both Georgia and LSU came into the season with high expectations, Georgia a preseason no. 1 and the Tigers defending national champs. Now, with each team having suffered a blowout loss, one more setback would end derail either's hopes of getting back to the top.

Georgia comes in at 6-1, 3-1 in the conference, has won two in a row since losing badly at home against Alabama, but hasn't looked good. Tennessee kept close well into the fourth quarter in Athens on Oct. 11 before Georgia won 26-14. Then the Bulldogs let Vandy hang around before sealing a 24-14 win with a late field goal.

"I'm really not worried about it," coach Mark Richt said of
his team's lackluster performances. "Winning to me is pretty stylish, so if we keep winning I'll be happy, I can promise you."

The Tigers, at 5-1 and 3-1 in the SEC, looked good through their first four games, but were blown out 51-21 in the Gainesville on October 11. Then a week ago they were forced to come from behind against South Carolina before winning 24-17.

"I like what we did with Charles Scott at the fullback spot," Tigers coach Les Miles said. "We'll throw it. We'll run it. He'll block from there, and he'll carry the football from fullback. It gives defenses another personnel group that they have to prepare for."

Neither of these two teams has looked like they will make a serious run at anything this season. Look for LSU to right the ship at home and maybe get on a little bit of a roll as they head into a touch match-up with Alabama on November 8. Take the Tigers and give the 1 point.
