Temple Owls
Temple Owls
There is Tuesday night action in NCAA College Football this week as the Temple Owls host the Ohio Bobcats at Lincoln Financial Filed in Philadelphia. Odds makers have the Owls as a 3 point home favorite with the total sitting at 43 in this MAC East battle.

It has been a rough 2-5 start for the Bobcats with five of their first seven games played away from home. However, with a 1-2 conference record, Ohio is just a half game back of the Eastern Division lead. With a win at Temple, the Bobcats could put themselves in position for a chance at a MAC East Conference title.

After Temple, Ohio win have three straight home games before closing out the regular season at Miami (OH). This will give them a good opportunity to get on a roll down the home stretch of the season.

After back-to-back weeks on
the road, the Temple Owls return home and will be looking to improve to 2-3 in the conference. Temple may have to try to win again without starting QB Adam DiMichele who has been sidelined with a shoulder injury he suffered against Penn State in a 45-3 loss.

Red-shirt freshman, Chester Stewart has had a rough go of it in the backup role and it would be a huge lift for the Owls to get DiMichele, their team leader back.

Without their starting signal caller, the Owls are near the bottom of four main offensive categories. They rank 100th in passing, 108th in rushing, 115th in total offense and 110th in scoring. However, Temple has still managed to remain competitive in almost every game this season outside of the Penn State contest.

Take the Owls in this one and give the 3 points. Even without their starting QB, Temple should be able to handle Ohio at home.
