Texas Longhorns
Saturday night the no. 1 ranked Texas Longhorns look to stay on top of the NCAA rankings as the no. 11 Missouri Tigers come in to Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin. Odds makers are calling the Longhorns a 4 point favorite with the total sitting at 65.

For 6-0 Texas, this is the second in a four game stretch of which the Longhorns will play top ranked teams.

We do have a difficult schedule but it may be good for this team. They're going to have to keep their foot on the pedal," said Texas coach Mack Brown.

Texas had Oklahoma (then ranked no. 1) last week, Missouri today, they get no. 8 Oklahoma State next weekend and the 7th ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders on November 1. Of course rankings may change, but no matter how you shake it, this is a brutal stretch through
the middle of the season.

"We have the most ridiculous schedule ever," Texas quarterback Colt McCoy said. "We can't slip up."

McCoy will need to stay at the top of his game for the Longhorns to be successful through it. The Texas signal caller has thrown for 1,557 yards and 17 touchdowns to just 3 interceptions thus far in 2008.

Quarterback Chase Daniel and Missouri, with one loss, has even more pressure. The Tigers will most likely have to win out the remainder of their schedule to be in contention for either the conference or BCS Championship.

With the way this college football season has gone so far, it would not be all that surprising to see the Tigers win this one and shake up the Top 25 rankings even more. Either way this one will be close and may come down to the last possession. Take Missouri getting the points.
