BYU vs TCU
Thursday night the 9th ranked BYU Cougars travel the Amon Carter Stadium in Fort Worth to take on Texas Christian. Odds makers are calling Brigham Young a 1 point favorite over the Horned Frogs.

After recording two shutouts and outscoring opponents 137-14 over its previous three games, 6-0 BYU extended the nations longest win streak last Saturday to 16 games. However, they received an unexpected challenge a week ago.

The Cougars were held to 382 total yards against New Mexico, more than 70 less than their season average and their lowest point total of 2008, but came away with a 21-3 victory.

"It's a great win for our football team in the way that
it came hard-fought, inch-by-inch, foot-by-foot," said coach Bronco Mendenhall. "I was proud of our football team. It was the most physical and hard-fought game that we have played this season."

BYU expects a tough challenge against the 6-1 Horned Frogs. TCU received the 27th-most votes in this week's AP poll thanks in part to their dominant defense.

TCU suffered their only loss on Sept. 27 in Norman to then no. 2 Oklahoma. The Frogs have held five of its seven opponents to seven points or less, with only the Sooners scoring more than 14.

This one should be a great game to watch. Look for the Cougars to hand TCU their second loss and extend their winning streak. Take BYU and give the 1 point.
