The Georgia Bulldogs got a taste of what being an elite football program feels like in 2007. Now, the Bulldogs are heading into this season with the hopes of winning not only the SEC, but also a National Championship.

Georgia returns seventeen starters from a team that won the Sugar Bowl and was close to their dream of playing for a title. This year, they will not be sneaking up on anyone as most predict they will win the SEC.

They know, however, not to get overconfident with their talent. "Here's our deal. We know everybody on our schedule can beat us. We know everybody in our division can and has beaten us," said coach Mark Richt.

The schedule is not kind to the Bulldogs for the upcoming season. They will have to play Florida, one of their hated rivals, and have a murderers row of road games including at Auburn and the defending champion LSU Tigers.

"Our conference is the toughest conference in the country. We've got more national championships, we've got more players in the pros. So our talent level in this conference is the best in the country. The quality of our coaches is the best in the country," said Mississippi State head coach, Sylvester Croom.
