Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Carolina Panthers head to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida to take on the Buccaneers in a key NFC South showdown. Odds makers have the Buccaneers as a 1 1/2 point favorite with the total setting at 37.
The 4-1 Panther take the division lead in the Tampa this week in what should prove to be a great match-up. A week ago Carolina rolled over the Chiefs 34-0 at home.
"It's been awhile since we've had a game like this," said coach John Fox, after Carolina's most lopsided win in team history.
"We had talent last year, but I don't think the chemistry was there," safety Chris Harris said. "We've got great chemistry. Guys like each other, and that's huge."
The 3-2 Buccaneers
"It's going to be all right," said Griese. He couldn't grip the ball without pain after taking a direct helmet hit on his elbow. "The doctor doesn't seem to think that there's anything wrong structurally so that's a good thing."
Garcia is expected to make the start against the Panthers. With a week of practice under his belt as the starter look for Garcia to fare better than the 93 yards passing he put up last week in relief of Griese.
This one should be a good one to watch and maybe come down to a late field goal. Take the Buccaneers and give 1 1/2.
