Cowboys vs Tigers
Cowboys vs Tigers
Two of the nation's most dynamic offenses will be on display on Saturday night in Columbia, where the 3rd-ranked Missouri Tigers host the 17th-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys. Odds makers are calling the Tigers a 14 point favorite at home.

Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel was a Heisman Trophy runner-up a season ago. Chase finished fifth in the country in passing yards and lead Missouri to a 12-2 record and a No. 4 finish in the Top 25 poll. This season Chase has completed more than 75 percent of his passes and has thrown for 15 touchdowns.

Missouri is averaging 568.8 yards per game in 2008, third in the country. They have the highest ranked passing attack with 375.6 yards per game. The Tigers are second in the nation in scoring (53.4 points). Perhaps the most impressively stat of all is that the offense has yet to go three-and-out this year.

"Every time we touch the ball we want to score," said
Chase. "When we kick field goals, we're like, 'OK, it's a B maybe.' We want A-plusses every time we step on the field."

As good as the Tigers have been through the air, Oklahoma State has been nearly equally successful on the ground.

Sophomore running back, Kendall Hunter is leading the charge with an average of almost 150 yards per game rushing. The Cowboys are third in the nation in scoring (52.6 points) and rolling up 530.2 yards per game (6th in the nation).

Last weekend it was the combination of quarterback Zac Robinson and wide-out Dez Bryant that made the difference for Oklahoma State. Robinson connected with Bryant for three scores in the Cowboys' 56-28 win over Texas A&M.

Robinson has 10 touchdown passes, and Bryant has caught nine of them.

This one should be a great game. OSU's ability to run will keep them in the game early, but Missouri's quick strike offense will allow them the pull away late. Take the Tigers and give the 14 points.
