Florida Atlantic vs Troy
Week 7 in college football gets underway Tuesday night with the Troy Trojans taking on the Florida Atlantic Owls in Sun Belt Conference play. Odds makers are calling Florida Atlantic 4 point home underdog.

The defending Sun Belt Conference champions, Owls were beaten last week by Middle Tennessee State on a last second Hail Mary to lose by one point. The Owls are hoping for better luck when they host another Sun Belt Conference contender this week.

The heartbreaking loss dropped FAU to 1-4 on the season. This is definitely not where the Owls thought they would be after winning the conference a season ago and returning a majority of their players. Losses to Texas and Michigan State and maybe even Minnesota should have
been expected, but not Middle Tennessee State.

This week Troy will be trying to avenge last season's 38-32 loss the Owls. While Troy appears to be one of the Sun Belt Conference's best teams, they were smack in the mouth in their last game by Oklahoma State. The Cowboys dominated the Trojans defense, racking up over 600 yards of offense in the 55- 24 rout.

Even in the lope-sided loss, Trojans quarterback Jamie Hampton still played well. Hampton was 27-of-49 for 272 yards and three touchdowns. Troy was also able to rack up 144 yards rushing against the Cowboys. Offensively Troy played well, but could not stop OSU on defense.

Troy should not have as many problems to over come this week against the Florida Atlantic. Take the Trojans and give the 4 points on the road.
