Pittsburgh lost two games at home last year to the Jaguars including a heartbreaking 31-29 loss in the wildcard round of the playoffs. In those games Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was sacked 11 times and has continued to be pressured in 2008. Thus far the Steelers signal caller has been sacked 15 times.

"We have some recent history with those guys," Tomlin said this week. "They are a very good football team."

A week ago against Baltimore, the Steelers came from 10 points behind to beat the Ravens in overtime. However, they lost their rookie running back Rashard Mendenhall for the season with a fractured shoulder. Mendenhall was starting in place of injured tailback Willie Parker. Parker, along with a long list of Steelers, will be out of the line-up for the Black and Gold against the Jags.

The Jaguars are 12-8 all time against Pittsburgh dating back to their AFC Central rivalry of the late 90's. Jaguars quarterback David Garrard has played well as of late after struggling in week's one and two. Last week against the Texans, Garrard was 23-of-32 threw the air for 236 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown.

"Thank God we have a quarterback like David who can do it with his arms and legs," said Jags running back Fred Taylor.

Running on the Steelers defense will not be easy. The Pittsburgh defense ranks fourth in the league against the rush and is only letting up an average of 74.0 yards per game.

This one will be a close, physical battle. Look for this one to be decided by a field goal. Take the Steelers getting the 5 1/2.
