The 4-0 Buffalo Bills are off to their best start in 16 years as they travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals. They will be looking to keep their perfect record intact on the road against the 2-2 Cardinals. Odds makers are calling the Bills a 1 point favorite with the total set at 44 1/2.
The Bills are lead by quarterback Trent Edwards and have not been off to this good a start since the days of Jim Kelly and Bruce Smith.
"We still don't feel like we're anywhere near our potential," Edwards said. "We're going in the right direction. But we still have a lot left to give. So I don't know how good we can be."
Edwards has thrown for 930 yards and 4 touchdowns thus far in 2008 and is backed-up by a strong defense and one of the best special teams units in the NFL.
"The way that we've come together as a team gives us momentum," says cornerback Jabari Greer. "That gives us belief in ourselves to know we can win when the game's not necessarily all in our control."
The Cards are moving in the complete other direction. After a promising start Arizona has lost two on a row and has not shown any signs that they can stop anyone on defense. Quarterback Kurt Warner is once again putting up good numbers however, the Cardinals are having all kinds of problems protecting him. A week ago against the Jets, Warner threw three interceptions, lost three fumbles and was sacked five times in the 56-35 loss.
"It's a team sport so it's the team's fault," coach Ken Whisenhunt said. "Obviously we did not protect Kurt well enough. But there is enough blame to go around for everybody."
The Cardinals will be looking to play the blame game some more after this one. Take the Bills on the road and give the 1 point.
