Rams vs Bills Not since the Super Bowl days of Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith, have the Buffalo Bills been off to such a tremendous start. The 3-0 Bills travel to the Edward James Dome in St. Louis to take on the hapless Rams.
Odds makers say the Bills are an 8 point favorite on the road against the 0-3 Rams.
The Bills hope to remain unbeaten after last Sunday's scare against the Oakland Raiders. A week ago the Bills trailed into the fourth quarter before mounting a 17 point rally, capped by a 38-yard Rian Lindell as time expired to move atop the AFC East.
Buffalo is coming off three consecutive losing seasons and has not made a playoff appearance this decade, but they are running
Quarterback Trent Edward is off to his finest season as a pro. The Bills signal caller has thrown for 733 yards and completed almost 70 percent of his passes thus far. Edwards' quiet efficiency has allowed running back Marshawn Lynch to control games on the ground. The second year runner has 218 yard on 60 carries and 4 touchdowns.
St. Louis is a team moving in an entirely different direction. The Rams are in turmoil. Scott Linehan is on the hot-seat and reports say the coached job may be in jeopardy. In a desperate attempt to spark the Rams offense, Trent Green will make his first NFL start since of 2008 in place of Marc Bulger.
It won't matter if its Green or Bulger, take the Bills and give the 8 points.
