In the battle of Ohio on Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns both come in at 0-3. Odds makers are calling the Bengals 3 1/2 point favorites with the total sitting at 44 1/2.

Quarterback Carson Palmer and the Cincinnati offense struggled in their first two games but not so much a week ago. The Bengals, despite losing in overtime against the New York Giants showed some signs that they may be ready to break out of their shell.

"A lot of positives," said wide receiver Chad Johnson. "A lot of good things. A couple of missed assignments across the board, it was always one thing on every play. But we had a lot of positives, man. We looked really good on film."

The
Browns have not been able to find many positives at all in 2008. After a 10-6 record a season ago and high expectations, the Browns have the NFL's worst offense (207.3 yards per game). So far, Cleveland's Pro Bowl quarterback Derek Anderson doesn't look anything like the player that threw 29 touchdowns in 2007.

Anderson's lack of productivity has prompted talk that 2007 first round pick Brady Quinn may take over. Browns coach Romeo Crennel confirmed that Anderson will start against the Bengals but did not rule out Quinn seeing action.

The Browns have more than just quarterback problems. Look for the Bengals to build on last week's "positives", irregardless who the Browns put under center. Take Cincinnati and give the 3 1/2 points at home.
