Oklahoma Sooners
The 2nd ranked Oklahoma Sooners play host to the 24th ranked TCU Horned Frogs in Norman. Odds makers call the Sooners 18 1/2 point betting favorites against the Frogs.

Oklahoma (3-0) has three lopsided victories thus far in 2008. The Sooners crushed Chattanooga, Cincinnati and Washington by a total score of 164-42. This week they face their first real test against a TCU team that has done much of the same. The Frogs are also unbeaten (4-0), dominating the field so far.

For a handful of Sooners players still have the memory of the last meeting with TCU is still etched in their heads. In the 2005 opener, then unranked TCU, walked into Norman and shocked
the then 5th ranked Sooners. The Frogs shutdown Heisman hopeful Adrian Peterson in the 17-10 victory.

"Now we have them again, that's all the motivation that you need," said Lendy Holmes, a freshman receiver in 2005. Holmes, now a starting safety has been able to celebrate after every home game ever since the last time TCU was in town.

The Sooners passing game is led by quarterback Sam Bradford. The Sophomore already has thrown for 882 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2008. On the ground, Oklahoma's two-headed rushing attack of DeMarco Murry and Chris Brown has averaged the Sooners more than 200 yards per game.

The Sooners will not let there be a repeat of 2005. Take Oklahoma at home and give the 18 1/2.
