Oregon State Beavers
It has been 41 years since the 1967 Oregon State Beavers beat the top ranked USC Trojans, lead by OJ Simpson 3-0. Thursday night they did just that. The Beavers stunned the USC Trojans 27-21.

Oregon State's Rodgers brothers helped their Beavers pull off, what should prove to be, one the season's most shocking upsets. Sophomore receiver, James Rodgers caught two first half touchdowns as the Beavers built a 21-point half-time lead. His brother Jacquizz rushed for 186 yards and 2 touchdowns including the clincher with just 2:39 remaining in the fourth quarter.

"I think we made a statement, like we can come out and beat anybody
on any given day," said Jacquizz Rodgers after the game. "It's not always the best team that wins on a day. It's who plays hard."

Rodgers rushed for more yards Thursday night than anyone against any Trojans defense since Vince Young ran for 200 in the 2006 BCS national championship game.

"I'm beside myself," said USC coach Pete Carroll. "They did not hide what they were doing, they just did it. We couldn't stop it, we could not tackle."

USC running back Joe McKnight rushed for only 10 yards after the 105 he put up against Ohio State. "I didn't make the plays," Mcknight said. "I fumbled the ball, dropped passes; you can't blame anybody else but me."
