Louisville Cardinals
Louisville Cardinals
This Friday night the University of Connecticut Huskies travel to Louisville to take on the Cardinals. Odds makers call the Cardinals a 3 1/2 point favorite at home against the Huskies with the total set at 50.

The 2-1 Cardinals are led in the passing game by senior quarterback Hunter Cantwell's 629 yards and 4 touchdowns through 3 games. On the ground, Louisville's Victor Anderson has rushed for 7.6 yards per carry. Anderson has 321 yards and 4 touchdowns, 3 of those coming in last week's 38-29 win over Kansas State.

The Huskies come in unbeaten and look to get to 5-0 for the second year in a row. The major thing that Connecticut has in their favor is
experience. The Huskies bring back 9 starters on offense and 8 more on defense from the team that upset the Cardinals a year ago.

UConn is coming off a 31-28 victory against Baylor. Junior running back Donald Brown leads the nation in rushing with over 700 yards. Quarterback Tyler Lorenzen has thrown for just won touchdown but is the Huskies second leading rusher with 222 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Louisville will be stacking the box with 8 and 9 defenders to try and contain Connecticut's rushing attack. Lorenzen should be able to have some success stretching the field.

If the Huskies can stay balanced on offense, they should upset Louisville on the road. Take the Huskies getting the 3 1/2 point.
