Just three days removed from what looked like a serious ankle injury, Philadelphia Eagle running back Brian Westbrook is "optimistic" he'll be playing in Sunday night's game against the Chicago Bears.

According Coach Andy Reid, Westbrook won't practice today, but is walking better and he expects his star runner to be in the line-up on Sunday.

"I'm doing basically everything I can to make sure I'm out there on Sunday night," Westbrook told reporters on Wednesday. "I'm optimistic about getting out there and being able to play, I definitely have gotten better since Sunday."

Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb is also
nursing a chest contusion that he suffered against the Steelers. McNabb says he actually feels worse today than he did on Sunday. He is still experiencing what he called "soreness and tightness" that will keep him out of practice. The Chicago native, McNabb, does not think that the injury will keep him out of this weekend's game.

The Eagles travel to Chicago at 2-1 and will be trying to keep pace with the 3-0 Cowboys and Giants in the NFC East. The Eagles offense has looked good so far averaging 30 point per game, 4th in the NFL. This weekend Philadelphia will need their top two offensive superstars to take on a tough Bears defense that ranks 4th in the league against the rush.
