No.1 Ranked USC Trojans The USC Trojans silenced all naysayers with a convincing 35-3 victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes this Saturday to confirm their spot as the number 1 team in the nation. Also with a dominating win over Washington 55-14, the Oklahoma Sooners have a firm grip on the number 2 spot. The Georgia Bulldogs fell to number 3 with 14-7 win over SEC rival South Carolina.
Trojan QB Mark Sanchez went 17-of-25 for 172 yards and 4 touchdowns as USC routed the Buckeyes in Los Angeles. The Trojans' offense put up almost 350 yards in route to earning 61 first place votes in the Week 3 AP Top 25 poll.
In their 55-14 rout of the Washington Huskies, Sooners QB Sam Bradford threw for 5 touchdowns and ran one in as well. The Sooners compiled almost 600 yards of total offense, catapulting them into the number 2 spot.
The Georgia Bulldogs fell one spot to number
Rounding out the top 5, the idle Florida Gators remained in the number 4 spot. In the Gators next game, Florida will face a touch match-up in Knoxville against the Tennessee Volunteers. The Missouri Tigers find themselves in the number 5 spot after their 69-7 rout of the Nevada Wolf Pack.
Surprisingly, after two weeks of dismantling lower division opponents, the Florida State Seminoles have crept into the top 25 with a number 24 ranking. This Saturday we'll see if they deserve to be there as they begin their ACC Schedule against the 18th ranked Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Also, everyone note that 5 teams out of the top 10 are in the SEC.

USC doesn't play anyone! It drives me nuts how a team that struggles with unranked teams can be listed as number 1! Play at least a few top 10 teams!!! (Ohio was a joke)
